Medical Herbalist – Nicola Fenton
Nicola is a Medical Herbalist whose aim is to inspire and empower people to use plants for their medicinal values in their everyday life to promote and support their health and well-being.
She’ll introduce you to nature’s pharmacy, where you’ll discover wildly wonderful edibles and medicinal plants, learning along the way how easy it is to forage your own medicine cabinet to aid your health and well-being.
Is your body feeling sluggish and in need of a spring clean? Now is the perfect time! In this workshop, we’ll discuss why and learn how to gently refresh and detox ourselves in preparation for the new season and get rid of any sluggish winter feelings!
Most people think of plants such as nettle, cleavers and dandelions as weeds, but Nicola will help you to discover a new perspective on them. You’ll learn about their nutritional and medicinal properties and how they can benefit your health and well-being, particularly as part of a Spring Cleanse.
During the workshop you’ll have the opportunity to taste, infuse and juice, discovering the plants through a variety of preparations so you’ll leave with a spring in your step.
Some of you may recognise Claryn from the Studio on Saturday mornings teaching Yin Yoga, however, she has so much more to offer.
With a professional background and career in health, well-being and healing spanning over three decades, Claryn is a trauma-informed practitioner who has a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to lead and teach sessions such as this with safety, compassion and integrity.
Claryn uses meditation, journaling, dancing, coaching, yoga, compassionate inquiry (a psychotherapeutic approach to trauma healing founded by Dr Gabor Maté) and felt-sense experiences, and she will soon incorporate Conscious Connected Breathwork.
It has always been her passion and vision to combine all of her learnings and create safe containers to guide, facilitate and empower others to heal themselves so that they can grow and thrive in their relationships, life and work.
Do you experience physical discomfort, tightness and tension?
Do you find yourself juggling too many balls on a daily basis?

Being on a hamster’s wheel means you have little time to prioritise yourself and your needs.
